Cappers, graded honestly

Anyone can claim a hot streak. Here every pick is posted before the game, locked at the live Kalshi price at that moment, and graded automatically. No deleting losers, no picking your own odds.

A capper is anyone who posts sports picks publicly. Most capper records online can't be trusted because losing picks get deleted. Here, each pick is locked at the live Kalshi price the moment it's posted and graded automatically, so the numbers are real. Tap a capper to see their record and their open picks: the team, the price they got, and a button to make the same bet.
Capper (handicapper)
Someone who publicly posts sports picks, often selling them. Most online records can't be trusted because losing picks get deleted; on Spot Angle every pick is locked at the live Kalshi price and graded automatically.
Example: A capper posts "Nets to win" at 44¢. If the Nets win, a $100 pick shows about +$125 profit after fees.
Sharp
A bettor or trader with a long, proven record of winning, usually by betting before prices move. A casual bettor is called a square.
Beat the close (CLV)
Getting a better price than the final price right before the game. People who do it often tend to win long term, so it's a better skill test than a hot streak.
Example: A capper posts the Lakers at 45¢. Right before tip-off Kalshi has them at 52¢: the market moved their way, so that pick beat the close. On the leaderboard it's the % of their picks that did this; over 50% across many picks is a good sign.
Units
Profit counted in bet sizes. +10u means you'd be up 10 bets' worth. If your bet is $100, that's +$1,000.
ROI
Return on investment: average profit per bet as a percent of what you risked. 0% is break-even; anything above 0% made money.
Example: +10% ROI: betting $100 on every pick, they made about $10 per pick on average. −5% means they lost about $5 per pick.
Following (tailing) a bet
Making the same bet a sharp, whale or capper made: back the same team, ideally at the same price or cheaper. The opposite is fading them.

$100 a pick

Profit if you'd put $100 on every pick at the posted Kalshi price, Kalshi's fee included.

Beat the close

How often the pick was cheaper than Kalshi's price just before the game. Good cappers find value before the market does, so this predicts future results better than a win streak.

Open picks are Pro

Anyone can see graded history. Pro members see open picks before the game, while the price is still there.

Most cappers post their own picks. Some profiles are public handicappers whose publicly shared picks we log, each linked to the original post; they can claim their profile. "Verified" means we confirmed they own the linked X account. "Sharp" is earned: 50+ graded picks beating Kalshi's closing price 55%+ of the time. Not advice; past results don't predict future ones. 21+.
